Fall 2009 Open Studio Tour Call to Artists
Visual artists in Tucson and Pima County are invited to open their studios to the public in this popular self-guided tour on Saturday and Sunday, November 14 and 15, 2009 from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Participating artists must have a studio in Pima County and be willing to open their studios to the public on both days. TPAC encourages artists to consider clustering studio locations for the ease of Tour visitors.
The objectives of the TPAC Open Studio Tour are:
- To assist Pima County artists in marketing their work
- To increase public awareness of the quality and diversity of art created in our community
- To promote educational experiences for attendees, who meet artists and see them at work
Registration includes:
- Inclusion in the printed program, with studio listings, maps and images of work – over 6000 distributed statewide
- TPAC website promotional section with link to artist website
- Inclusion in the Open Studio Tour Preview Exhibition
- Wide variety of promotional materials including radio, television, newspaper, and magazine ads
- Participation in an arts community
